Russian Classes for Children
Online Russian language classes for children aged 3–16. From fun beginner lessons to advanced bilingual study, our classes build confidence and language skills at every stage.
For children aged 3–7, these classes introduce Russian through play, songs, and stories in small groups to build confidence in speaking and understanding.
Designed for fluent Russian-speaking children, these classes follow a curriculum similar to Russian primary schools, with academic levels from Class Zero to Class Four.
If your child is new to the Russian language, our RFL classes are the ideal starting point. These classes provide a strong foundation in reading, writing, and speaking up to an intermediate level.
If you're looking for a more customised learning experience, we offer weekly one-to-one tuition tailored to your child's specific goals. You can choose between 30-, 60-, or 90-minute lessons, and we also offer a short writing course designed to help children learn to write in Russian before joining one of our group classes.
By learning in our children's classes, older students will attain the necessary knowledge and skills to advance to our GCSE Russian courses and receive a Pearson (Edexcel) GCSE Russian qualification at the end of their studies.
GCSE Russian Edexcel Courses
Our online GCSE Russian courses follow the Pearson Edexcel (1RU0) Higher Tier specification, covering all grammar, vocabulary, themes, and exam techniques to ensure students achieve top results.
Designed for students planning to sit GCSE Russian in Summer 2026. Classes run on Mondays 5:00–6:00pm and 6:15–7:15pm and are suitable for Year 11 students, or younger learners with a good level of reading, writing, and speaking in Russian.
Designed for students sitting GCSE Russian in Summer 2027. Lessons are on Tuesdays 5:00–6:00pm and 6:15–7:15pm, with an optional Thursday 5:00–6:00pm support lesson. Best for Year 10 or younger learners who prefer steady progress.
Our courses cover all themes, grammar, and vocabulary for each of the four exam papers, with regular practice and optional mock exams. We also help students choose a suitable exam centre and can arrange qualified teachers to conduct the speaking exam.
We offer flexible 1-to-1 lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Ideal for learners who want focused support, extra exam practice, or a timetable that fits around school and activities.
Completing GCSE Russian with us fully prepares students to join any of our A-Level Courses, giving them the study habits and exam skills required for success at a higher level.
A-Level Russian Edexcel Courses
Online A-Level Russian courses for Pearson Edexcel (9RU0). Students develop advanced language skills through literature, film, and research projects, building valuable skills for university and beyond.
Designed for students preparing to sit A-Level Russian in Summer 2026. Classes run on Wednesdays 5:00–6:00pm and 6:15–7:15pm. Suitable for Year 13 students, or younger learners with strong Russian language skills ready for accelerated study.
A steady-paced pathway preparing students for A-Level Russian in Summer 2027. Classes run on Thursdays 5:00–6:00pm and 6:15–7:15pm. Best for Year 12 students, or younger learners who prefer gradual progress with more practice and consolidation.
Our courses cover all exam themes from the Pearson Edexcel (9RU0) specification, including grammar, vocabulary, literature, film, and the Independent Research Project. Students build exam skills with structured lessons, practice questions, and optional mock exams. We also guide students in choosing an exam centre and can arrange qualified teachers to conduct the speaking exam.
